Ehret, Inc. Company History Spans Over 100 Years

Ehret Inc. opened its doors in a garage in 1903.  What began as a two man shop doing residential plumbing repairs and steam heating, has evolved into a company that is among the leaders in our industry in our region.  We have about 150 full time employees, and we boast a fleet of equipment that is quite impressive.   

Today, Ehret, Inc. specializes in utility construction, including water and sewer main installation and repairs, pavement construction and repairs, large commercial plumbing and HVAC installation and repair, as well as residential installation and repairs.

According to Midwest Construction Magazine, we were ranked #105 worldwide and # 74 in Illinois by revenue.

The Ehret company has remained in the family for over 100 years. Past Presidents include:
